Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes, a former utility regulator outspoken about energy matters, submitted a formal request for an investigation into the impact of data center growth on APS customer bills. Mayes told 12News if current corporation commissioners do not investigate claims provided to the commission last week alleging unfair charges of customers, she does not rule out directly issuing a subpoena for APS records to investigate potential violation of consumer fraud laws.
