An all-electric fire truck could service Mesa’s largest master-planned community by the end of next year. Mesa leaders recently signed off on spending $1.4 million on a totally electric fire truck and put it to work at the new Mesa Fire Station 221 near Eastmark, which is scheduled to open in November.
