American Battery Factory (ABF) recently chose Tucson as the location for its headquarters and factory. The company will open its first U.S. battery cell gigafactory on 267 acres in Pima County’s Aerospace Research Campus, according to a news release from the Arizona Commerce Authority.

Canadian-based electric vehicle company ElectraMeccanica announced it will move its corporate headquarters to Mesa on Monday. The move expands the city’s electric vehicle footprint in the state.
