The 2024 election for the Salt River Project Board and Council is underway. SRP is the nation’s largest public power company. Unlike investor-owned utilities in the state, SRP is a political subdivision of the State of Arizona and not regulated by the Arizona Corporation Commission. 

SRP is a not-for-profit, community-based entity governed by a board elected in this special SRP election. It is the Board’s job to ensure that SRP’s actions are in the public interest as well as its own.
